Why do the delivery dates vary from one vendor to another?
Every order is made to order and will take our vendors some time to craft. This makes sure the item is done well and gets to your recipient in the most optimal condition. Therefore, each vendor has their own turnaround time and the available delivery dates listed on each product reflect this.
Why do I need to provide the recipient's phone number?
To ensure a smooth and efficient delivery, we will give the recipient a call when the courier is enroute. Please provide their phone number and apartment buzzer code (if applicable) at check out.
What time will the order be delivered?
The delivery will happen between 11am - 6pm. We cannot confirm the exact time the item will be delivered ahead of time as it depends on the number of deliveries we have that day and where the recipient is located.
There could also be delays due to external factors such as extreme weather, traffic disruption, strikes or lockdown due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
You can only cancel or modify your order if it's not due for another 72 hours or 3 days. Please email us immediately if you need to make any changes and we'll try our best to coordinate with the vendors.
Will products be exactly like the photos on Wanderclose site?
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear on the website. However, it is important to recognize that a perfect match is not always possible.
Our partner vendors are responsible for making the products and we hold no responsibility in the differences between what’s on the website and what the final product might look like.
Why don't you offer Free Shipping?
The short answer is, there's no such thing as free. When companies offer free shipping, someone eats the cost and, most of the time, it's the vendor and they do it out of the goodness of their hearts. Some companies also increase the prices of the products just to cover that cost. The delivery cost is used to cover the cost of the courier service, which in turn support the well beings of their employees as well.
What if no one is at home for the delivery?
Please make sure you notify your recipient on the day of the delivery that there's a surprise coming their way! Our driver will also call them about 15-30 minutes prior to delivery to give them a heads up. If the address has a private entrance (i.e. townhome / detached house), we will leave it in a safe place near the door. If the recipient lives in an apartment and we cannot reach them by the time of the delivery, re-delivery will be necessary. A $10 re-delivery charge will be incurred.
